Flight Foresight
Airplane-based Flight Operational decsion support system providing runway surface conditions reporting (Braking Action) information to Operational Control Centers and pilots
Information is frequent, more accurate and in real-time.

When it's important to know
- Current methods of reporting runway surface conditions to pilots and flight operational personnel has shortcomings.
- Shortcomings have been addressed in accident reports for years and recommended improved methods to better assess braking capability
- Runway excursions is the major category of aircraft accidents and incidents. It is not confined to winter conditions, rain-wet is equally a problem

Improved situational awareness
- Enhanced weather/runway undestanding by receiving early insight into changing runway conditions
- Reduced workload for pilots during takeoff/landing
- Proactivley manage to mitigate or avoid disruptive events
- Fuel savings through improved contingency planning
- As an AIREP, works for airfields that have not issued - or do not issue SNOWTAMs
System Features
Provides airplane-based information about runway surface conditions to assess weight and stopping distance limitations for takeoff and landingVi tilbyr en rekke spesialiserte tjenester skreddersydd for å møte dine individuelle behov. Vår tilnærming er fokusert på å forstå og svare på det du trenger, og gi effektive og praktiske løsninger.

The Solution
The system makes use of data management capabilities of modern aircraft and a proprietary program function enabling an objective assessment of aircraft stopping ability on slippery runways.
By crowd sourcing data from aircraft, updated information is continuously transmitted wirelessly to a cloud-based server for distribution and integration with flight operational tools, such as flight following software used by flight dispatchers operations control centers and Electronic Flight Bags used by pilots.
